The Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League (PGCBL) is excited to announce the upcoming 2022 regular season schedule.
The regular season will kick off on Friday, June 3rd and run through Friday, July 29th. Each of the league’s sixteen teams will play a 48-game regular season schedule. Playoff format will be announced at a later date.
The sixteen teams will be split into East and West divisions. The East will include the Adirondack Trail Blazers, Albany Dutchmen, Amsterdam Mohawks, Glens Falls Dragons, Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs, Oneonta Outlaws, Saugerties Stallions, and Watertown Rapids. The West will include the Auburn DoubleDays, Batavia Muckdogs, Elmira Pioneers, Geneva Red Wings, Jamestown Tarp Skunks, Newark Pilots, Niagara Power, and Utica Blue Sox.
New to the 2022 schedule, each team will play a pair of cross-division doubleheaders. The East will visit the West on June 21st-22nd, while the West will travel to the East on July 5th-7th.
The Canadian based Capital City Reds will join the PGCBL this summer as an affiliate and play twenty-four exhibition games against teams throughout the league.
